With its friendly and  relaxed atmosphere Leek is the perfect place to come for escapism, arts, culture, history and beautiful surrounding countryside. The town is surrounded by easily accessible wonderful walkways for the daytime,  but in the evenings offers a variety of traditional pubs and bars to enjoy local food and ales.

Known as the Queen of the Staffordshire Moorlands this delightful town is known for its textile industry and hosts many wonderful historical buildings. A weekly market brings visitors from all over the UK to this highly cultural and charismatic town.

Wednesday Arrive early for our Mid week Traditional Market and Browse the local shops

Thursday Head off for a delightful walk from town, down to the Churnet River Valley where we walk around the Tittesworth Reservoir with wonderful wildlife and birds. (8 miles). Followed by visit to a local traditional pub for dinner in the heart of town

Friday Visit to the infamous Roaches with a walk along the ridge heading down to the eerie Lud’s Church. (8 miles) Optional trip to Winkle Micro Brewery
